Making Marks

One great thing about attending life drawing sessions on a regular basis, is the ability to try new stuff. This drawing was done with a brush pen. That pen captured every line and a great deal of energy.

Gesture

I feel it is so important, yet most artist regulate it to a warm up exercise. Having a solid gesture adds life to drawings. I spent a lot of time doing gesture drawing in my Disney days with Karl Gnass, These gestures are typically 5 minutes, sometimes 2 sometimes 1. Enjoy
